Seaweek, New Zealand’s national week celebrating the sea, took place this year from March 1 to 9!
There were over 100 events nationwide, organised by local organisations, libraries, businesses and schools, coordinated nationally by the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education Centre (MERC) and supported by Foundation North, Rātā Foundation and the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO. A huge thank you to everyone who engaged with Seaweek!
