Come along to learn about our local area and the larger forces at play all over the earth. This will begin with a geology-focused upper rocky shore walk followed by a complimentary hot lunch. For the afternoon we have a range of activities to choose from:

~On the water activities such as GSUP or giant stand-up paddleboard (activity options will be weather-dependent)

~Interactive exhibits including an Augmented Reality (AR) sandbox from AUT

~Opportunities to engage with experts and take action for our ocean

   ~Crafts and more!

We'll finish off the day with a sunset swim- an annual feature of our Seaweek World Ocean Day celebrations at MERC!
