Mangawhai community clean up meets monthly. The March clean up will focus on Seaweek!
Every first Sunday of the month we meet at MAZ Cafe (191 Molesworth Dr) just before 8.30am. Two options from there: Either spread out across Mangawhai to clean up the streets and coastline. Or, help out with the MAZ working bee doing weeding, planting and other park maintenance jobs. Either way, it’s back to MAZ Cafe around 9.45am to enjoy a catch-up with fellow Wombles / Gardeners over a coffee and pastry or pie.
Bring the whole family – kids can enjoy the MAZ facilities and have a free ice block or drink. High-vis vests, bags, gloves and all equipment provided. This month Seaweeks Northland Regional Rep will be present to talk about Seaweek and events in the area at our coffee break.
