Pedal towards a sustainable future

Join us for an exhilarating evening of cycling along the picturesque Christchurch Coastal Pathway!
In collaboration with the Christchurch Coastal Pathway Group, NZAEE, Christchurch Envirohub, The Estuary Trust, and Seaweek, this event promises a blend of community, environmental awareness, and outdoor adventure.
Meeting Point: Scott Park
The event will kick off with a welcome gathering at Scott Park at 5:30 PM. Feel free to arrive early, starting from 5:00 PM, to mingle with fellow participants.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the ride will be divided into two waves of 15 people each. The first wave will set off at 5:45 PM, followed by the second wave at 6:00 PM.

Representatives from The Estuary Trust and Christchurch City Council Park Rangers will be present as special guests. They will share insights on various topics related to the surrounding areas, providing valuable information about the natural beauty and significance of the coastal pathway.
- Participants must be competent bike riders with their own bikes and helmets.
- Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Unfortunately, no animals are allowed for this event.
The ride will conclude with a closing at a designated endpoint at Sumner Beach. Participants will have the chance to win spot prizes, adding an element of excitement to the evening.
