Our land, our seas, our responsibility

Art exhibition from local Levin artist Alissa Dyer, showcasing New Zealand's taonga species and environments.

Exhibition open from 4th March - 31st March

Artist, conservationist and science/biology teacher Alissa Dyer, is showcasing artworks that bring awareness and appreciation to our environment (especially our unseen marine environment), sharing the importance of protecting all species, not just the cute ones. Through her artwork, she aims to inspire active change and personal responsibility for looking after this amazing, unique place.

In order to save these taonga species and locations, we all need to be doing our part, by working together, reducing our impact, cleaning up our environment, removing pest species and sharing the responsibility to take care of this treasured land. Every small action adds up and if we all contribute together, we can bring about massive change.
