Sea Week

Thank you to Experiencing Marine Reserves - EMR for all their Seaweek snorkel days this year. Enjoy this video from Saturday when they took 107 snorkellers though the beautiful Ladies Bay on Rotoroa Island. We saw schools of piper, juvenile snapper, parore and a giant stargazer! Participants were also treated to a fabulous guided walk led by the Auckland Zoo. Huge thank you to Kevin and Toni from the Rotoroa Island Trust for hosting us and to 360 Discovery Cruises for getting us there. This event was possible thanks to the The Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation, Waiheke Local Board, Sea Week and our fantastic volunteers.

Edited by Lorna Doogan, footage by Sophie Journee, Wednesday Davis and Lorna Doogan. Drone footage by Alternate Instinct.
